I was really desperate for a cowbell pedal, but I'm almost flat out broke right now and I still need money around for Christmas so I found some parts around my house and threw this together:

It's made out the footboard from my old crappy hi-hat stand, string that used to be on my snare, a hell-of-a-lot of screws, and I bought that front bracket thing with the cam and chain on it for 5 bucks, and the beater is made out of an old vic firth lol. I mounted the cowbell via part of one of those cymbal extenion things that lets you put one cymbal on top of the other, which is screwed to one of those side splash cymbal mount things from pearl. All that is conected to a steel rod I found in my dads work shop which is then conected to the rack. ---- The pedal works suprisingly well, and sounds pretty cool since whenever I hit the cowbell I get a little bit of "sizzle" from an old hi-hat that I stuck screws in and made into a "sizzler" lol.
