That was fun!. Thanks for posting it Bernhard. Lots of good listening/group playing and nice to hear Dennis in this trio.

Definitely in the spirit of the original Tony Williams "Lifetime". Tried to put a date on this since it appears to be from the same tour many years back when they played as part of the Vancouver International Jazz Festival.

Haha yeah, he covered it so well. I thought it was intentional at first..

Actually it looked intentional to me too. Maybe the stick was broken and he just got rid of it.

That's nothing, but get a load of this: did you hear McLaughlin play the Bonanza theme early on in his solo? That made me chuckle a bit...

I thought that was the best part of the video.

Videos like this make it hard for me to believe that Dennis is self-taught.
