I bought a remote hi-hat the other day from a find on Craig's List.
I was using an X-hat which offered no foot control; so I wanted a good remote system.
I bought this (it's almost new) for $175. I think that the action is fine and now I can use my New Beats and my Quick Beats with the same playing style.

very nice...i was debating between that and the Pearl RH2000...i went with the RH2000 despite having all DW pedals because it feels just like a normal hat stand.
