...Hola dot comrades.

I morphed my franken kit with the Ludwigs, and this is how they turned out.

Ludwig 20x14 12x8, Sonor 14x14, 10x8, Traxx 12x5.5. 20" Legacy ride, 17" aax stage crash, 14" AA fusion hats, and a mish mash of hardware.

A guy I work with is looking for a drum kit for his son. I told him that it would be better to wait untill January when the stores have their pre inventory blow outs, and boat anchor sales. I am going to lend him this kit untill then.

how does that snare sound? It looks like it has die cast hoops, but I don't know the company. More info would be great :D

...Punk.

I picked this drum up at a store called Mothers Music. It sold for $49.00 Canadian and it did come with die cast hoops. I have seen almost identical D Drums with the same finish and lugs, so I would bet that these are just a generic made in China brand.
It does sound okay. I don't really know how to describe it except to say that it isn't annoying. It is a really nice little snare, and the rest of the kit sounds really good as well. I am surprised at how close the sonor and the Ludwig toms sound to each other. I have Fibreskyns on the tops, and assorted good enough to work as res heads res heads on the bottoms.
