Freedom Jazz Dance anyone? Thats the clearest I've ever heard a melody played on the drums without bending the pitch.

I love Lewis Nash! What an incredible player. And that melody really does come out nicely.

I have never heard of him so that's the first time, but it was amazing. I'm watching the other videos now. Incredible!

Great story, he played with many great musicians, recorded...toured.
Lewis has a remarkable and individual style and his way of swinging is impressing

Thanks Karl, Wow, thats hell of a credentials list. Amongst that list, playing for Ron Carter means you'd better know your business inside out. If he played for Ron, thats really something!
Check the mallets and the brush playing on website autoplay..... mind-blowing!

I'd say he is the modern day Philly Jo Jones. If you don't have any of his stuff at all, look for him with Tommy Flanagan.
