New snare!!!

Hello everyone, today I purchased a 60's-70's Blue Sparkle Gretsch snare from a vintage drum/guitar store.. The owner of the store knew nothing about it except that it was either 60's or 70's, because a friend gave it to him.. I bought it because I love the tone and the crack, it's maple, and it is beaaaaaautiful, it sounds great, but I was wondering if you guys could give me some history on it and such... It's a 14 X 6 by the way..

It's got a Ludwig throwoff, and a Ludwig snare butt plate, which were put on by the previous owner..

That is awesome, I love the sparkle. The only that detracts me is 6 lugs. Seems weird, but nonetheless a great snare.

Yeah the six lugs is kinda weird, but it sounds good so I'm not complainin haha

I love the sparkle too, it looks great with my kit.
