Not sure what is it, but the 10" tom with that snare just looks great!
That snare is a beast, great setup.

Thanks!

Big_Philly - I wanted to get a new batter head today so, I kinda did a quick tune up and cranked it quite a big. Holy crap! It has woodiness, not the typical ring of other metal snares, dark and fat! Very sensitive too....

nx1600 - well that depends on what kind of snare sound you want and what you are comparing it with...haha

Awesome set. The finish and cymbals match perfectly. What music do you play along to?

great looking kit.

How do you like having an 18" x 14" bass drum ? does the sound project well ? is it muffled ? Do you have any sound clips ?

Mr Pasquini - Yo my stagestar buddy! Wow looked how your set has progressed! I still remember when it was "just another stagestar".haha!

youenjoy00myself - Well, I play along to stuff like Keane,Maroon5,Alicia Keys...heck ...even Dream Theater

Tuxido - Well my previous setups had 2 pillows inside. Now its just a rolled towel taped to the batter head. Sings more this way. WAY more oomph! ( i've pretty much grown out of the THUD sound ) Projects well?Hmm, not too sure. It's just a home practice kit. And unfortunately, no sound clips as yet.

Up next would be a better throne and snare stand ( currently its from a friend of mine ). And of course...splashes!

Oh man, nothing's better than a four-piece kit with plenty of cymbals...

...well, except for maybe a six-piece.

Indeed, a cat who can make a 4 piece kit work, and inversely, work a 4 piece kit, will be the guy "walking in the valley of the shadow...and fearing not!" Great kit, nice sizes, awesome cymbals...
