Are those made by DDrum with the plastic bass drum hoops/

No. My friend built them for me. He got the shells raw from whichever company supplies Ludwig with acrylics. The bass drum hoops are wooden.

Sweet looking kit, stands out beautfully.
Though it seems like the bass head clashes somehow. An amber clear head would be great.

Yes! "Danalog" did them for me. I've known him forever. He did an awesome job. They sound great. Super bright and punchy. I'm in love with them.
The kick-drum head is the Chicago flag. Although, some of the kids in one of my bands think a giant half of an orange would make a better head.

Non-clear heads on an acrylic kit? Blasphemy! lol. But aesthetics (or lack thereof) aside, very nice kit!

woah what a great kit! Just to make you aware of the orange bass head thing. Fruit does look cool,.The idea is already being used by Kevin Sanders of the band "Cartel", who has a peach. :D. He's using a sjc custom amber as well :D

how do you like that 14X10 tom?
I am working on making a freaken kit using vintage drums and I am thinking about using an old 14X8 marching snare until i can find a vintage tom.

I love the 14x10. It pops but still has the boom of a deep drum. It's perfect. Sooo loud.
The hoop inlays are coming in january. The badges are still being worked out. I personally think it looks fine without them though.
No, I'm not a diver, but I kind of am a marine biology nerd. That's a picture of a captive whale shark. I drove to the Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta from Chicago this summer to see them. Being just a pane of glass away from an animal of that size is incredibly humbling.

That would rock!
That is a very nice set! Too bad you don't have a matching snare drum, but I guess this one sounds better than an acrylic snare drum?

THAT would be cool and give the set a lot of attitude (even more than it has). I recommend www.drumart.com.
