WELL, i get fridays off college and i thought to myself this morning, what should i do?
I calcutaled for a minute or so and came up with a list of things i should do, like practise some rudiments, study more rudiments for college, have a cheeky wee practise and maybe make myself some soup, oh and shave.
BUT as is my want, i have yet to do any of these. I got a bit bored and took a pic of my current setup.
im quite happy with it, its helping me build up my left hand technique and making my mind think latterally, more ambidexterously.

Oh yea, i got a new snare, a 10 by 6 Premier Cabria in Emerald Green, just fancied a new snare, something quite high pitched but with power. I seen this snare on the tinterweb for something like 60 quid so i bought it. I slapped a moongel on it and tuned it up and it sounds like a marching snare - niiiiice.
I incorporated it jojo mayer style into my setup, just to the right of my right(16") floor tom.
its quite good there, and makes me play open handed on the hats if i play hip hop, which is good for the old left hand.

cymbal setup, left to right.

B8 16" crash (mince)
B8 18" crash (crap)
2x 6.5" Black Metal Ice Bells
B8 High Hats (bollocks)
19" Zildjain A Custom Medium Crash (awesome)
18" Zild. A Cus. EFX crash (amazing)
14" unnamed china (good)
17" Stagg china (crap name but amazing cymbal)

Pedal Setup Left to right.

Bell high hat
High hats
Cowbell/jingle (whatever takes my fancy)
and a single bassdrum pedal on the bass drum.

Anyway, pic.

thats yeah its a really deep finnish.

I dont play with a ride because i have incredibly hard to please tastes in rides, and because the are expensive and im a student, i dont want to part with a lot of money for something i dont truly want.

i seen a Meinl Extradry ride that was amazing, but you cant get them anywhere in the uk yet.
