super-2 vs. response 2

hello

what's the difference between these two heads? which one do you prefer? i'm thinking about getting coated.

is super-2 also a snare head?

CLEAR: Wet attack, lot's of bottom end and depth.

Both are double-ply heads, and personally I wouldn't use one on a snare.

I recommend Aquarian Texture Coated (dont forget the bottom head Classic Clear Snare) on the Snare, My Black Beauty came to life with these heads, never sounded better.

i know the descritpions of both heads. i just don't know the differences. are the plies in both of a different thickness or what?

Super 2's are two ply, but have thinner plies than Response 2's

Ok Again I'm here to tell the truth and offer my help with Aquarian products.

Response-II are two 7 mil ply head

Super-2 is a 5 mil upper ply and 7 mil bottom ply.

Wrong

two 7 mil ply for a grand total of 14 mil head...


The Performance-II are also 2x 7 mil ply but with a thick focus ring.
