Cruise ship musicians

I just got back from a cruise on Royal Carribean's newest monster ship. They had a nine piece orchestra that was jaw dropping. These guys played with a singer that came on board the day of the performance. They couldn't have rehearsed with him for more than a few hours before the show. They played like they had been together for years. No detectable glitches...it was just incredible.

Any of you out there ever seen any of these bands, or better yet, has anyone played with one of these groups?

I was on a Carnival cruise last year and was impressed as well.
