Is the Cherry Black color transparent? Can you see the wood grain really good?
I can't find a decent picture (even on the tama website cause they photoshop it so much).

I have a tama catalog and it doesn't look like you can see the grain.

You can see it a little bit but not much. It looks very pretty but its hard to see the grain unless your up close. I THINK John Blackwell's dvd hes using that very kit/finish. I could be wrong though. I have seen one up close and like I said its pretty but if you defently want to be able to see the grain in any light and a far distance, it isn't going to happen.

Up close you can definitely see the grain, but from 30 feet away / an audience perspective, you won't be able to unless the light hits just right
