Pearl hi-hats?

Hi, as stated elsewhere, I'm a guitarist so forgive my retarded questions!

I bought a cheap kit that came with Pearl hi-hats. I was trying to find out what model, but it doesn't look like Pearl even makes hi-hats anymore?

They're marked 'Pearl 14" hi-hats'.

Are they just a cheap and cheerful set to accompany one of Pearl's bargian kits?

yeah sorry to say they are,they changed the names of em later, pearls bargain cymbals are called solar now.

Saying that though...the Pearl ride I got with my first kit I really, really liked. It had a great ping to it and came out fantastic on the few recordings I did before I stopped using it!

The crashes and the hats on the other hand...were not so good!
