What size would you guys recommend for a Alternative/ Ska/ Funk/ Rock sound

its really your choice, choose the one that sounds best to you,
but if i had to pick i'd go with either a 18" or 19"

Are you just looking for one crash? I'd personally go with a 19, but if you need a quicker sound, a 17...or why not both :)

try and try but ill not exclude medium thin weigth, for size 17- 19- 15 for fast accents

To make sure I got the point across, I'm looking for a nice quick accent with an almost majestic, Eagles/ classic rock like, decay.

Bigger cymbals - 18", 19" aren't really going to have quick decay for fast accents.
