I have noticed Thomas Lang filter chinas have many small holes in them! To be 100% honest, I'm bored of my wuhan china. it is too trashy for me ans I only really use it with my hands (which can sometimes leave with red palms!)

Just as an experiment, when I have time, I will consider putting holes in (possibly 1-2cm holes, I don't want it too much like a Sabian Ozone Crash.)

Good idea? Comments please (Or has anyone actually drilled holes in cymbals before)

I think it sounds like a plan. I can not promise you it will sound less thrashy though...
And if it goes wrong; It's a Wuhan, right? You could get a new one..

Well, all I am really after is the difference in sound quality, it might make it more trashy, might make it less trashy. Might make it louder, might make it quiter, but it was only £20 from a friend of mine so I will probs swap it for a b8 14" and experiment with that a little!
