Does anyone of you know these drums which are part of Satoshi Takeishi's percussion set?
I mean those two "flat style" drums which are mounted on the center stand of his setup. They seem to consist only of a drumhead with a small rim and some wooden mount attached to it... here you have a photo from http://www.jazzozieri.com/SatoshiTakeishi.htm

BTW: Takeishi seems to be a pretty nice artist (I just stumbled upon him in the web today): check out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WKA6oDbpHQM

Appreciating any hints about the drums, thanks,
WP

Hey, thanks!
That was easy! I'll try these drums, I think...

Great site, by the way! I like this:

By the late 1980s, in Europe the Italian virtuoso Carlo Rizzo developed a unique and highly individual unified approach to tambourine playing with a synthesis of Italian, Persian, and Indian drumming techniques. By engineering his own "polytimbral tambourine," Rizzo could control the tension of the skin, application of snares, and dampening of jingles making his instrumental solos sound distinctly like tamburello, tammorra, kanjira, bendir, dumbeck, or a snare drum within a single performance.
