I want to make a Timeless Timber Stave in Maple 14X6.5 and I found a source for the wood.

Making a Stave Snare drum is not rocket science.
Some PDF members can make one in a week after turning out one or two first. I will make a few with some scrap wood to perfect the process then go for it with some Timeless Timber Maple.
