Just wondering, I've seen a few piece here and there but haven't located any retailers that has a full line or packages of them.
Thanks

I remember the local Canadian distributor of Istanbul Agop telling me there was no interest by the BIG musical instrument stores in Montreal in carrying the cymbals since they just want to push high volumes by the "big 3". Strange but true so your out of luck in your hometown at the moment regarding Istanbul Agop cymbals.

have you tried drum bazar? jean-marc is the owner - good drum guy! don't have the # off-hand, but he's indie and maybe, just maybe...
i assume you've checked steve's and archambault; did you try italmelodie?

I haven't tried Italmelodie, but Steamer seems right cause I tried Steve's and they have liek a splash or something. Drum Bazar I go quite frequently but I haven't seen any stacks of Istanbul collections.
I was just wondering since it would be nice to see where i can buy myself maybe a Istanbul Trad thin 18" crash or med thin to contrast with my Armand 18" thin.
I originally wanted to get the K dark thin 18" crash but I wanna give a Istanbul a try.
Maybe in a few more months when i can get another part time job i can score another Crash :P

I remember Noel saying specifically that Montreal was a "problem" regarding the cymbals having distribution.
You can contact Noel through the Heartbeat Percussion website link under "contact us" freehandstyle and he'll fill you in and let you know your options.

Just click on "contact us" and you can fire off a email to Noel. Maybe if enough Montreal players complain about the lack of Istanbul Agops in your city maybe the big stores like Steve's will get it that people like to have more cymbal buying options available to them. Good luck!.
