Okay im liking these dream rides what do you think of the contact 20 and 22 and the bliss 20 and 22..they sound fairly thin but not too washy and the bells sound great. really for me its for prog rock stuff and a bit of fusion but i want something different from my Paiste full ride.

(Ill check them out IN PERSON when im in London and will make my OWN DECISION to save you internet wingers winging just want some opinions on the tones and characteristics)

I really am not to fond of the over-tones on the contact. Though i do like the bliss.

i dont like how they used nylon tips, for me theres definitely a difference in sound.

ah i never read that. that may mean the bliss which i prefered lacks definition for rock music. bell is great however and they crash well.

Yea both of them crash really well and the bell is nice on both. But really, most drummers i know use wood tips. And it makes a difference when your playing the ride cymbal.

Also at the bottom it says you can request a sample. Maybe you can have them do it with a wood tip. Or better yet the stick that you most likely will use.

From what I've heard of them online before, the Contacts are my favorite. No trashiness here, just hand hammered warmth. They don't come in much variety though.

yeah i would have preferred a 21 inch really. check out these vids on utube. they do sound very clangy here and the body lacks definition
