I'm starting off in a three piece band. I sing and play drums. I'm looking for a inexpensive in ear monitor system. I love the look of sound wedges but the bulk is a pain in the ass. Plus I've heard that the right IEM's actually halp save your hearing. I"d appreciate any help, Thanks

Considering the price for such things (800-1000+ euros for high end gear) I consider the Shure E2Cs to be quite cheap at 75 euros. You can find them even cheaper on eBay. The problem though is that you will need a belt pack to go with them which incorporates a limiter. You MUST have a limiter when using in-ear monitoring.
