Well i am in desperate need of some new hi hats and is spending the more cash on the AAX worth the cash or would the XS20 do the deed well enough

The AAX is the FAR better choice. The XS20 isn't all together awful but you'll want to replace it eventually, the AAX is professional quality, they'll last you forever (or till you break them (but you'd have to be a monster)).

I agree with Mr Pasquini, the AAX Stage-hats are better.Ive had them for 10 years and theyre still going strong. An excellent choice in my humble opinion.Hope it helps.

It is always a better investment to buy the higher quality item, unless you just dont like the sound. Eventually you will realize how much of a better decision it is.

AAX, no doubt.

aax. Spend that extra 70$ and get something that will last really long. Honestly, the xs20 line is good, but when you get better, you want the more "pro" stuff, so why not invest in something that will last longer, instead of making side trips!

AAX for sure. They're on the kit at my high school and they are some very nice hats. Much better quality then the XS's will ever be. Sabian says it themselves on their website that the XS is decent quality for a lower price than the other professional lines.
