Yes it is. Here is an old video that I shot when I had a Groove Ride. I crash it and use the bell.

I no longer play left handed and don't have the ride anymore, but it should help in your decision.

Oh jeez, YES! I have the HHX Groove ride and absolutely love it. It's definitely crash-worthy and has an amazing bell. I highly recommend it.

I am also seriously considering get a groove ride for the formentioned reasons. It would make an excellent addition to my 21" HH Raw Bell Dry.

...If you want a god solid crash with a killer bell you may want to consider a 20" AA El Sabor ride.

I have one, and I love it.
