I found out that Gibralter makes those vintage style cymbal l-arm mounts that go on bass hoops. Danmar does too. These cool things would be great for virgin basses and would save you from having to bring one or two stands. I also looked around on the internet and no one stocks them. Is there a place I haven't seen yet that would let you order some of these harder to get items?

Give Shane "the groove" a call. http://www.justdrumsonline.com/ He's a member of the forum and a Gibraltar dealer.

I haven't posted here for a long, long time but this is the closest thing I could find for you. It's ludwig and you'll have to drill holes so your bass drum won't be virgin I found it here. This will hold a ride cymbal
