Triggers

I'm considering buying triggers for my drums. I'm going to get a RT-10S from Roland for my snare. Now my problem is that I havent had experience with Yamahas DT-10's which I am considering. Do they work well on mesh heads?

From what i've found, probably not. Even if you got something high like the Ddrums or something, the problem with triggers is that if you too hard, it can double trigger, too soft and it might not register at all.v And on a mesh pad, the vibration will be dampened considerably.
