Usualy, when talking about effect cymbals, that are good for DnB, House, Acid and other electronic styles, I think of Meinl Generation X serias and of course Jojo's prototypes.
I have found interesting Paiste line called Noise Works. For my ear they sound very good(for those specific musical purposes). Unfortunately they're not popular. Haven't found even prices for them

If Paiste would get someone like Jojo, Rabb or Questloveas endorser and extend the line, they would be quiet good concurrent with Meinl.

What do you think?

Truthfully i didnt like the sounds at all. Not nearly enough decay, and just not the sound i look for in a cymbal.

Well, that's the purpose of those cymbals. Meinl Generation X cymbals also have very short decays because they want to resemble electronic sounds.
I would never replace my traditional cymbals with those. They're not for jazz or rock.
They are made for electronic styles.

Yeah, the Meinl Gen X are brittle sounding to me. The alloy is so different it might be hard to get them to blend well with other cymbals.

With electronica music they would probably do great. If I had a set of electronic drums I would add might add some Gen X cymbal sounds to them. Those safari hi-hats are pretty neat sounding.
