Another "thumbs up" for The Next Level. It contains many of the exercises and concepts I learned/played when I marched drum corps back in the day and still practice now. Jeff does a nice job of laying it all out. Haven't seen the DVD yet.

I´ve both. Simply is the best book of snare drum techinque ever written and the video is great , It goes from the basics to the most advanced hibrid rudiments with detailed explanations. Jeff also explains in the book the moeller stroke and the velocity stroke wtih great detail , Jeff uses an hibrid of moeller stroke and the stone stroke .
I recomend both !! first the book and second the video
