View Full Version : Weird Al gets Biography special!

On October 11th at 10pm ET, the Biography Channel premieres the "Weird Al" Yankovic Biography (A&E will start airing it later in November.) Unlike MTV's Behind The Music and VH1's Driven, this documentary is more mainstream, current, and adds a certain recognition and legitimacy outside of the music programming where you'd normally expect to see Al.
There are interviews with cool celebs, Al and his wife, and of course the band. There's a bit of new live footage as well, so my Ludwigs get a bit of exposure too!
Even if you're not a fan of the music, it's a really well-done documentary on Al's life and career.

Sweet! I'm setting my DVR right now. Thanks for the info Bermuda cuz I'm sure I wouldn't have caught it. I'm looking forward to seeing you and Al.
Edit: It's not showing up, maybe its just a little early for the guide. I wont forget though.

I'll be tuning in or at least DVR'n it. Al is unlike the typical musician image and most of the time people don't care about their stories unless they're some awful pop star *ahem Britney* or a criminal. He's talented and at same time....interesting!! Hope to see some good footage of you Bermuda!

Unfortunately my DirecTV package doesn't have ET so I'll have to look for it on A&E in November.

Woops, I thought he meant it was going to be on E!
We don't get Biography either. I guess I'll wait for it on A&E.

If you missed the Biography special in October (or perhaps you don't get The Biography Channel,) good news: A&E is going to be airing it this Sunday morning (Nov. 11) - check your local lostings and set your VCRs/DVRs/TiVos!

Thanks for the update, though I just checked and unless it's wrong, at 11am on Sunday, A&E is showing Mannequin. Hopefully that's incorrect :) I don't get Bio so I'm anxious to see it.
*edit* I just checked the A&E website, it's on at 8am EST.
