Hey, my name is Karl. I`m 14 years old and I`m from Germany.

Here is an improvised solo...it is not the best of me because it is improvised.
Enjoy it and please value this solo.

solo285.

you keep a very steady bass pulse throughout and work around that. you keep a theme through out which is quite cool. perhaps a few dramatic stops, a few towering fills and a double time section would add extra interest. how did you record this?

solo20

very nice rolls to start with dynamic wavers. then its in many ways similar to the first. my best advice to you at where you are at now is to track down the drum duet between chester thompson and phill collins (http://www.drummerworld.com/Sound/philcollinsthompson.mp3)
. steal bits from it and insert them here and there. also see if you can add some latin feel into your solos. you clearly have good rolling rudiments so it comes down to structure and orchestration now.

Pretty good. I enjoyed it. You're only 14? How long have you been playing?

You are talented! I can hear a special cohesiveness to your solos .... The recording quality is not very good, yet your drumming sounds very good, especially for someone who is only 14. It seems you are into your own style and not trying to copy others so much. You sound relaxed with yourself. That is good. You are not running in all different directions. There is a musical quality to your drumming that I enjoy when I hear it.

Good work! GeneZ

Wie geht's?

Anyway..somebody should warn me before I turn up the volume that opening bass almost exploded everything over here.

You are the one with the Tama Superstar right?
Sounds good considering the quality of the recording was not the best.

The drums sound like they might be overpowering the microphones though. Theres a lot of ring in that snare too.

:)

Nice work. When you get older I'd suggest you buy some recording equipment and you are on your way to great sounds.

Keep it up.

It is very good man I like it! but after a while I wish you would just break into a awsome groove between the hight hat snare and bass drum. it seems now a days that people are afraid of high hats. :(
