I went to a Carmine Appice clinic a few months ago and was kinda disappointed. He's a decent drummer but he spent like half the time telling us how Bonham ripped him off. Also he had us watch a lot of him play on the Ed Sullivan show from long ago. I was hoping to see more live playing than he did. It's true he's considered a legend but I expected a little more. I didn't have to pay so I guess it's all good. I Finally got his book though which I like quite a bit. Blessings.....

Hi
I went to an Omar Hakim clinic last october.

Hanito you're from DK? My best friend and his wife just moved back there. I think they're either in Herning or Viborg. I need to tell him about this drum forum. Blessings.........

Last drum clinic I went to was Bobby Rock in New Hampshire about...14 years ago. He was doing a trio thing with a bassist who went by "Buddha" and some guitar player who guitar players know...Satriani? Someone like that...He's a hell of a player - and that Peavey drumset with that fancy Sistine Chapel paint job looks great - but man, do I hate drum clinics...

Horacio ''El Negro'' Hernandez!

A great clinic, he went through all the history of latin music, and played some awsome solos, after that he performed a concert with Italuba and did a jam session till 3:00 am! Crazy! :-)

Gregg Bissonette last Dec. at Chad Sextons (311) Drum City in N. Hollywood Ca.
I hung out w/Gregg and his dad Bud before the clinic. Gregg was nice enough to let me borrow two crashes for a gig I had that night. Gregg's clinic was Great!! Being my favorite drummer, I have never seen him play anything other then Great.

Hey how is Chad Sextons Drum City? Do they have lots of clinics there? What's their set up and what do they mainly do? I'm curious cause I live in North Hollywood....where's this place at? Thanks for all your help and I look forward to hearing back from you. Blessings.......

Steve Ferrone, 15 years with Tom Petty, last Wednesday night. Played a few songs to his iPod of his recorded stuff. Signed autographs afterword, and he and I talked football, soccer, for a bit. His team growing up was Brighton.

Its a pretty nice shop. A good size store. It's all acoustic sets there. I don't remember seeing a single electronic kit. I am going to order a Mapex kit from there next week and they said Mapex are their best selling kit's. They are on Lankershim and Magnolia I believe. I know Ralph Humphrey did a clinic there since Gregg did his.
