I own the PDP and other than the throwoff, I'm not sure what differences there may be between these two drums (given that the sizes are identical). I'm just curious about plies and other hardware differences and such. I am not well versed in either manufacturer (I know PDP is a division of DW) which is why I'm asking the question. Sure, I could search google and look up stuff on the official websites, but I would rather use the forum and pick the brains of my fellow drummers. Thanks in advance for your help.
BTW, in my sig, the PDP is listed as an aux snare, but, man, it sounds so good I use it as the main snare all the time!!
