Hello,
I have a pdp hi hat stand for double bass pedalers. You know, the ones with two legs. Well how do I fold the foot part so I can put it in my gear bag?! I tried loosening the screws with my drum key, I can't think of what their called now. I tried using my screwdriver to unscrew the screws on the bottom.

These pedals are great for double bass drumming but when it comes to storing them in a gear case, well that is a different story.

I don't have an answer for you but I do have a question.

Is the pedal able to rotate on the two-legged hi hat stand or is it stationary? I was thinking about getting one but I don't know how close I could get it to my double bass pedal. Thanks.

Is there a plate under the footboard?
If so, I think you just have to loosen the key screws on the side enough to let the plate part fold up.
Those key screws should be at the end of the plate, where it attaches to the 2 down posts by the chain.
