I try to find those stores when I'm in big cities. The selection varies, but there is a great one in Albuquerque NM. They have a big selection of really nice used kits. I saw a Sonor designer 7 piece in there once and a lot of really decent other name-brand kits. I found one of my favorite ride cymbals there as well for $70... They are definately a legit company.

I love the place, bought my Stagg hats there (but they were new, they're a dealer in North Carolina) and I bought my snare there. Great company.

They are my first stop, even before eBay, when I'm looking for cheap or used gear. Great store, but they don't always have what you need. If they do, though, its majorly discounted.

I always hit the MGR in Albuquerque first. great stuff at great prices, and unlike many "music" stores, at least here in Albuquerque, they're all working musicians who know the gear.
