HELP - Hi - does anyone know anything about this kit - I've heard there were only 45 of them made worldwide, but there's very little info out on the web, so I need your help!!!! Not sure if it's a 90th anniversary kit, but it's maple, with an smoother, less white oyster than the Ringo kit that came out. The oval badges (illustrated on the bass drum skin) aren't like any I have seen before. It sounds great, I'd just like to know more about it - and I know there are people here with much more knowledge than me!! Thanks, peace.
Its worthless... now sell it to me for 500$ .... NOW!!!
J/K I have no idea but if you wanna trade or sell it let me know :P

Looks like a re-issue Ringo kit. No idea what they were/are selling for. I thought around $1100-1400, but I may be way off. PM LudwigVondrumCrazy. He'll be back next week and be able to clue us all in.

That looks like the 90th anniversary Ringo kit that Ludwig issued, but don't
quote me on that 100%. LVDC will definately know.
But you got a nice set of Ludwigs there.

I'll vote for it being a Ringo re-issue kit (1999), Re-issue wraps seem to always "not quite" hit the mark. Ludwig re-issued the Psychedelic Red and Citrus Mod, but what they could do back in the 60's and what they can do now (EPA and all), anyhow, I remember seeing this kit at the NAMM show. I think it had the modern 9 ply shell, and obviously "modern" hardware. Ludwig also did 90th Ann. Black Beauty's http://cgi.ebay.com/RARE-90th-AN-Ludwig-5X14-BLACK-BEAUTY-ENGRAVED-Snare-NR_W0QQitemZ220147390513QQihZ012QQcategoryZ64434QQ cmdZViewItem which they made 90 of and numbered.

But doesn't the tom mounted on the bass drum in the picture look deeper than 9"?

As a Fisherman I know that photo's can make some things, like a Fish, larger than they appear simply by extending your arms out while holding your "trophy." Same principle applies to anything, which is why I don't try to nail down Drum sizes based on photo's................
If this Kit has the 90th Anniversary Badges then it more than likely is a Retro Fab Four...............

Hi - thanks everyone - yes, it's the 1999 re-issue indeed. If anyone stumbles across any websites with more info, or knows any more about it, i'd love to know - but you have been very helpful already!
