GMS SE Series Tom Mounts

Does anyone know what size L-rod fits the cool, sleek tom mounts used on the GMS SE kits? Do they fit DW-style L-rods (the thicker ones), or Tama-style L-rods (the thinner ones)?

The mount I'm referring to is used on the SE kits, not the RIMS stuff used on the CL series. Here's a link to the picture of the GMS mount:

I'm wondering if I can use GMS's mount on a Taye kit--to scrap the RIMS stuff. I think Taye uses the 10mm L-rods, like Tama.
