Happy birthday! I`ll send you a high-end air drum kit!
Haha...well, have never tried the Bright hats, are they really bright? I know the HH sound as dark and "traditional" actually.

Thanks, I'll PM you my air PO box number. :P

That's actually what I was thinking because of the generally dark sound of HH. I used the tired-and-true "use your ears" method at the local shop and these hats were my cymbal of choice, the sound is not totally bright (I had B8 hi-hats before this which were pretty bright). If you think of the sound of Ringo's hi-hats on "Dear Prudence", that's pretty close to the sound of the hi-hats. I was playing along to it today and the similarity was pretty cool. It also sounds actually a lot like the sound clips on the Sabian website. I'm just so happy to finally replace my B8s, it's such a huge upgrade.

The foot splash sounds really great. It does a have substantial wash, but perfect for my tastes.

I can mark hi-hats off my to-buy-list for pretty much forever as long as nothing happens to these babies. Next on the list is a Fierce Crash, then a HHX China, and if I don't go broke a shiny 20" Vault Crash that I saw at the shop (huge sound!).
