Though I`m not too familiar with all the updated Pearl stuff...is it MMX? Made from maple? How thick?

I can't really tell from the pic - is that a laquered finish over a kind of bird's eye wood grain? It looks very cool. A matching kit will be amazing. What else are you getting?

Its pearls custom line.. Masterworks.. not MMX. yes it is maple. Heres the kit setup in the store.. its not even really setup .. But it gives ya an idea. I have actually posted a thread already, I just wanted to show my snare. -)
