Whenever we play at the local "Battle of the bands" The high school girls go wild for me and my brother. We let our hair down and they scream. But they are a lil young to be bringing home.

dont you live near an open field? you should set up the amps and drums in the middle of the field, and make a really dramatic picture, and edit it in photoshop. Kind of like an album cover. haha nevermind, nice pics, and nice snare wink wink*
this was at a party at some girls house in another town. It was a 45 miniute drive, but well worth it. It was our first show so pretty sweet. I left with a much better looking girl, she took all the pictures the drummer should always get the best looking one

far far away from metal! it is not my cup of tea, my gretsch drums should tell you that. (i dont think there is a metal band who uses them)

nice crate,,,,those words are oxymoron.
I dont think i've ever heard a crate I liked.
Orange, mesa-boogie, fender tube amps, marshall jcm800 or 900, hughes and kitner stuff,

Crate's blue voodoo is a really awesome amp.. Especially the 300.. the rest is pretty much crap.
i will have to stear him away from the crate then. I really dont know anything about amps. I dont think he has done much research either...but his Gibson kicks ass

Let's see ... we have pretty girls, cool music, friends, good times, gigs to play, and nice setting. Why complain about anything?! You are doing it. Joey
By the way, your kit looks great, whatever the specs are.
no complaints here. It was a blast. I dont know much about amps but i like the sound that comes out of the line six. Its just on the quiet side sometimes. the party was great the drive home sucked tho.

I def. agree on the Orange... I've seen them onstage several times, and they always sound great!

geez id use gretsch drums and i play in a metal band

i didnt mean to insult that type of music, by any means. Gretsch just makes me think of classic rock and jazz where as metal makes me think of pearl and tama.
Even if i wanted to i couldnt play metal i cant keep those crazy 16th note patterns going at 1000bpm

I love the pink snare dom. There is just something about a drummer having a pink snare that shows alot about how comfortable he is in his own skin.. lol. It looks like you guys had a great time! Those backyard gigs can be the best, and the ones that you remember most. They are so intimate and fun cuz you can actually see the people that are there instead of having that darn spotlight in your face.
Also, I don't agree with the guitarist always getting the girl. It has never been that way for me. Maybe I have always been EXTREMELY fortunate. Before I got married, I would always find myself with a hottie or 2 sitting on my kit trying to play it, or trying to mack on me. Like I said, maybe I am just fortunate.
If the guitarist gets the girl, that means the drummer needs to improve on something. Cuz, when you think about it... what we as drummers do.. looks cooler, is much louder, and gives chicks something to dance to. So, if the drummer is lacking in the groupie section... he really needs to reflect on what it is that he is doing wrong.. lol.

I second the Mesa-Boogie amp. Hottest thing going. Love the Rectifier series!
