New set-up, flatter tom angles, etc..

Hello hello, not much has changed, though I've flattened out all my toms, and I've moved some stuff around... I've also added a 12" Wuhan China since I last posted my kit.. And I also moved into my new house, so this is my new room! haha

Specs:
Pearl Rhythm Traveler
20x8 bass
10x5 tom
12x5 floor tom
14x5 floor tom
13x5 snare
Pulse
6" Roto Tom
8" Roto Tom
(I have a 10" but I don't like the sound, plus two works for me)


Cymbals
Zildjian ZBTs (I plan on replacing all my ZBTs with Meinl Classics by the end of this year)
14" hats
16" crash
18" crash
20" ride
Wuhan
22" Wind Gong
12" China

I've got Aquarian Performance II's on all the toms, Aquarian Focus-X on the snare, Evans Emad on the bass.
And I also have a LP Black Beauty cowbell and a Rhythm Tech ching ring

Yeah they are thin, but with the Performance II's I get a nice fat sound out of them.

Thanks, the toms sound really good without a reso.. Like I said earlier, with the Performance II's I can get a nice fat classic rock tone out of 'em...

i must say that those are the most bizzare sizes i've seen, nothing wrong with them, just weird.

i have a 16x22 bass and i thought that was shallow.

i want to hear some sound clips of those

Ironcobra, Tuxido hit the nail right on the head. It's a kit for the gigging drummer if you will haha.. It makes transportation reallllllyyy easy.

I had a Traveler once, and I kinda miss it - it sounded really good and was easy to transport.

Oh don't get me wrong, I think its a really cool set. I just think it's interesting to have all concert toms!

Haha yeah, they are really easy to tune, but they sound nothing like concert toms... As you can see they are MUCH less thicker than concert toms, which are usually a regular tom size, just no lugs on the bottom for the reso.. They have their own individual tone, they remind me alot of Ron Bushy's drums on the In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida album, which is funny because he took his resonants off for that album for an even deeper sound...

Wow!!! That's great! The only thing is that I don't like the fact that there are no reso heads. I understand its for he transport, but carrying around a few hoops and a few heads wouldnt have been so bad after all.

I meant that the drum sizes are very weird, like not the "ordinary" sizes. Probaly because I just found that they were rythm travelers, the key word, "TRAVELERS" :P
