Simply lovely. Natural maple, one of my all time favorite finishes. And the zebrawood snare, just the right amount of bling. Perfecto.

Thanx man, Lignum is a custom drumbuilder in Belgium and he builds the most wonderful kits, not only the looks are great but the sound is just so perfect!!!! These are all staveshells. So you like natural maple?? Have a look at this then: Natural Maple Fiddleback kit with woodhoops.

This kit is not mine. Ik checked it at a drumshow.

I love your kit. I love your cymbals. And I really love your lignum snare.

I discovered the Lignum site a few months back and I think he makes the most beautiful drums on this planet. His "profiled" wood hoops are amazing.

Somewhere on the Lignum site is a video clip of a (Danish?) drummer playing a solo on his Lignum Rosewood stave kit. It's quite a low-volume gig and the tone of his drums comes through beautifully.

Acually he's a Dutchman called Richard Heijerman, an amazing drummer btw! Here's a link: http://www.lignumdrums.com/nl/snaresAndDrums.php and click on the litlle portrait.
Take notice of the sound of his floortom, that's a 14" x 12", unbelievable........
Ik already visited a couple of drumming friends with the Lignum and they are all very enthousiastic!!!

Terrific drum porn.

Beautiful kit and nicely arranged. I like the deep toms - when shallow toms are the current fashion, you have drums that are not afraid to be drums! All my toms and bass are square sizes as well.

The stave zebrawood snare is mindblowing. An exceptional drum.

WOW! That Lignum snare looks absolutely INCREDIBLE! I think I'd be afraid to play it; I'd probably put it on display in an airtight glass cube with 24 hour security monitoring....;)
