Hey, So i am not sure who all has seen this website yet, but it is about time someone created a free drumming lessons website the right way. I just got an email a few days ago about this new free online video lessons website. So i checked it out and its actually pretty sweet. The onyl problem is the videos take a bit to load sometimes. I like the play alongs section, you can aactually download the mp3's without drums! Any ways, tell me what you guys think? www.freedrumlessons.com

Its alright for beginers. It doesnt really help that much if you are already somewhat experianced in the type of drumming being taught.

Yah that is true, I just hope they keep adding to it. Maybe they will post more difficult lessons down the road, althoough some of those jazz comping beats are hard.
I checked it out and this is really something that alot of beginner drummers can use, and the jazz section is a pretty good introduction to swing 8th note ride and comping patterns.

Yes. The videos take a while to load, but I clicked "streaming on youtube" in the "alternate video options" heading. It started almost instantly.
Mike does a great job with the jazz videos.

Yah that is true there have always been lots of free lessons on like youtube and stuff. I dunno I just found it sweet having everything orginized like that. I was even reading their famous drummer bios and they are very nicely orginized. http://www.freedrumlessons.com/drummers/ Just think its a good idea thats all!
