Hi all;

I wanted to take this opportunity to let you know that I will be teaching lessons and classes at the University of North Carolina-Pembroke campus as an Artist -in- Residence on select dates and times beginning in August, 2007.

You do NOT have to be a student at the University. I am accepting outside students as well as University students. It is NON CREDIT this semester, but will be for credit in the spring semester. I will be there once per month, and you pay for a block of lessons in advance to hold a spot.

I am really looking forward to this situation. Of course, I will continue to be on the faculty at Drummers Collective, it's always great to get out of New York City every once in a while to meet some new drummers!

Times are limited, so, if you are interested, please PM me, and I can give you the dates, details and how to sign up.

Hope to see some of you soon!

All the Best

I am teaching in New Jersey right now! Hit me with a PM, and we can converse.

Where do you live?

I will only be going to NC once per month. My BASE is still Drummers Collective.

Also, no worries, I will be teaching in Carolina next year, too.

oh yeah, lol...if you need a translater when you get there, just holla at me....lol...you'll see what i mean when you go out among the locals. big Native American community there (Lumbee), and their native language has mixed with the southern dialect english and sometimes they're very hard to understand. Great people tho! Okay...good luck with everything!

I just had my first & second lesson with Pat on Saturday!

He's a great guy to learn from and very nice, too. He's tryin' to get me out of some very bad habits I've gained over the years of my playing, and I welcome it with open arms. Showing me techniques I never thought of.

Thanks Pat!
Andrew

EDIT: I also got the book! It's great, thanks!
