i'm interested in buying my first set of timbales (obviously, i'm a beginner)

what suggestions does anyone have for them? aluminum (cheaper)? go for the nicer ones (bronze)? start cheap til i get a better feel for them? brand (LP is the best?)? price range?

if you are new to timbales, then I'd begin by getting used to them. Even the low end LPs are imense quality!

I have been using CB rototoms for quite a few years now, and I am thinking that a set of timbales would be an interesting option as well.

I think The Mini LP timbales are great just for adding onto a drum kit, but any of the aluminium ones will do awesomely!
