I tried the pedal in a store - it's awful! It's very wobbly, and I just don't understand what's the point of it. Maybe it allows you to keep your bass drum far from you?..

I like the idea of the "remote but not really remote" hi-hat stand. I find that with having long legs it can be a bit difficult to get the hi-hat into a comfortable position. With this stand though I could have it exactly where I want it and still keep the hats close!

Id love one of those offset-extra-chick hi hat thingys.

lol.

The problem is though, if you wanted a second snare, how would you fit it in.

I'm pretty sure I read that you can't adjust beater angle on that pedal which would be odd.

What holds the footboard to the shaft or whatever you call the thing the roller runs up and down?

Both are terrible imo. I've tried both of them. Pedal feels......can't really describe it, other than saying that it's pointless, along with the hi hat stand. Haven't tried that thing in the second picture.

I tried the bass pedal at NAMM and I was completely unimpressed. It feels like crap. It reminded me of something that the professor from the Simpsons would make.

Never tried the other stuff.

The two hats on a stand thing looks fragile and a pain in the neck to set up on a gig but could be useful to those guys who use both left and right hand rides.

The offset hi hat is kind cool, especially for us double bass guys, but only if it feels smoother than a short cable hi hat, otherwise what's the point?

The pedal looks too uncomfortable just by looking at it. I just received a DW Delta 3 Nylon Strap pedal today. Your standard pedal, with basic adjustments...my Eliminator is more advanced than this pedal when it comes to features, but it's honestly the best pedal I've ever used to date. Simple = better IMO.

The hi-hat attachment looks useless to me. It doesn't look like it would function that well, and it would be uncomfortable to position and use. The DW Tandem hi-hat makes more sense to me:

The off-set "remote" hi-hat looks interesting, although it looks like you'd have to sacrifice the exact height you want for the position, as the more you adjust it to be higher, the more to turn it into a regular straight hi-hat stand.

I have tried the pedal and it was really bad. I am not really sure why they brought that to market.

So what if the stuff sucks. You gotta give props to gibraltar, there pretty much the only guys out there making innovations to hardware.

Sorry but I'm only going to give props if a company makes innovations and the stuff DOESN'T suck. If a company makes an innovation, and the innovation doesn't help anyone, then what's the point?
