This is for all you drum corps, corps guys.

What's your favorite marching snare ,tenor. bass, whatever

I play so and by far the best out there in my opinion is the shorty by dynasty

im in my highschool band and i like the Yamaha snares....i used to play quads and i didnt like the sound of them and after an injury and some arguments..they were taken away and i was back at snare...but ive only played those 2 for real i mean..and our school sucks so we dont really get new stuff, so thats all ive played and i like it!

i am in my highscool band, and we JUST got ALL NEW EQUIPMENT!!!!!!!!!!! it's all pearl, and top of the line stuff, we had the most (i say this with the utmost respect for people in actual ghettoes) but these drums were the most ghetto drums EVER! they SUCKED and still do!! ok rant over,

well i love the nice crack of the new snares, and I like how you actually get bounce off of kevlar heads, yup we were still using mylar!!!

but I think once you get to the top of the line stuff of the big three pearl, yamaha, and dynasty, it is pretty much equal, it just depends on what heads you use, and how much your band leader lets you CRANK EM' UP!!!!!!!!!!!

i own a pearl free floating marching snare...if i recall correctly its a championship FFX model.

but from my experience Dynasty is by far the best.

as for drum corps. BLUE DEVILS. Scott Johnson is the man.
