I am going to the DCI Eastern Classic this Saturday and Sunday. Today I got an
e-newsletter from DCI about what is going on that weekend, like schedule of the corps performing, and diffrent events through-out the day. Well, one of the things listed was called the "Worlds Most Accurate Drummer Contest." It seems pretty cool, it's based on timing. Like how even your strokes are, and how even is the time between each one. I forget the gadget that they use but it's like the Roland practice pad, except from a diffrent company. I think I might sign up, but I don't know, I don't want to look like a fool. even though I have been told I havre pretty good time.

Yea it seems really cool. Also a great experience if you get to do it in front of people and get judge on your accuracy. Also a great way to improve myself! I love getting better and better.

I would go for it, and plus, if you want to, you can video tape your self and post it on the forum and we can tell you how everything sounds.

Good Luck!
