Injured AGIAN!

I just got the cast off my hand a week ago, and my drumming was slowly getting back on track. So i finaly thought the strength was good enough to take my CRF450 down to the track for a couple rips. I actually had a good day at the track ( beat my track record by 4s ) I decided to take one last lap, i dug in on the last corner and flew over the handle bars. I landed on my right shoulder and dislocated it, now my collar bone is permanently on top of my shoulder socket. The doc said i was an accedent prone 12 year old in a 23 year old body. Few weeks of rest though and ill be fine. I guess now i have time to practice getting my left hand quick agian!

You just reminded me of my nephew. From one injury to the next, but keeps on going.. lol. I used to be like that. But, when I hit my late 20's or so the injury recovery time began to get longer and didn't heal 100% like it used to.

Ya, I definately agree. Its not "how" or "where", its "when." If you ride long enough, its inevitable. I skateboarded my entire life up until 28 years old. Wanna talk about injuries?

I finally gave up on most things with wheels except for the Razor ..haven't crashed on that yet.

i stoped skateboarding when i was 18 out of fear of continuing to hurt myself. i love skating but i love drumming more.
