Sure they will.

It WAS an Evans Power Center. They don't coat underneath the dot and someone had obviously ripped it off.

Yup, Power Center Reverse Dot Head,

Are we sure about that? The rest of the drums look the same (that is, having no coating in the middle), which makes me believe that it may have been perhaps just a G1 or something that was worn down. Just for the sake of speculation.

Length of the text under Evans gives it away. Compare it to the Reverse Dot on musiciansfriend or another site.

So we going with the Power Center Reverse Dot? Because it is true that all the others look pretty much the same'ish x

It's definately a power center reverse dot.

You know, I can never wear the coating off an Evans snare head...and I usually
leave my snare heads on for a long time. ???

That head must of been on there for ages - Evans coating takes years to wear off.

Not really. Evans does not coat the head where the dot is adhered to the head. There is no coating under the dot to begin with. Someone ripped the dot off and played on the head.

It's actually a "reverse" dot head which means the top would've still been coated.

Thanks for all the response, after trying out both the Evans head and the Remo Powerstroke 3 (Coated, Clear Dot) I have decided to go for the Remo, I've started a thread based on this head if anyone wants to post there?
