My birthday is upcoming in a couple months here, and I've been dying to change my setup after thinking it through. I want to add another floor tom, although nothing bigger than what I already have. I've got 12x10 and 13x11 rack toms and a 16x16 floor tom, and I want to put a 14x14 between those, this would definitely fulfill the sound I am looking for.

My drums are the Ludwig Accent Drum series, (seen here- http://www.ludwig-drums.com/content/product_detail.php?item=LR1125RC&css=) and the only available configuration is the one I have-- no "jazz/fusion" sizes.

However, looking around, I can only find 10" and 12" add-on toms, which is not what I'm looking for. Musician's Friend carries a 14x14 Ludwig Accent Floor Tom (seen here http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Ludwig-Accent-Floor-Tom?sku=443109&src=3WFRWXX) which I've also seen on other online stores. However, I'm worried because it appears to be in black satin finish, and my current drums are in a black gloss wrap.

Does anyone know if it is at all possible for me to get a 14x14 floor tom in Accent series, but also in black gloss wrap?

I don't know if they mean satin black or black gloss wrap... plus I don't know if the shell is Phillipine Mohagony/Juniper, which is what my drums are made out of.

That looks like black gloss to me. As for the wood, even if the combination is slightly different, you probably won't notice much of a difference tonally.

Ha, I showed this to my dad and he said to him "tom" is a person so he didn't know what it was that I wanted to buy and was worried it was a whole drumset.

...and bass is a fish, and a snare is something used to catch rabbits in the wild.

Ludwig doesn't have any 14 toms with black wrap to sell? I'm almost positive that if you go to a music store that carries Lud's they could order you one. But, I could be wrong.
