I have been offered a kit but have not seen it in the flesh . as it is 200 miles away from my home at the moment
The labels on the kit say Drum World but I can't seem to find out anything about them , apart from a shop in USA
It seems like quite a nice kit but I could be wrong , and the price is very reasonable indeed !

Person playing them or at least the person setting them up isn't a serious drummer... suspension mounts are promising... can you get closer pictures of the bearing edges of the drums or something?

I concur . The people selling it know nothing about it at all. It also has what look like Le Blond cases with it .....

It ALMOST looks like a keller shelled custom kit... thin shells.. can almost make out the bearing edges but not quite. I'd have to see the edges close up to really tell. If that's the case then it probably sound killer.

Hi EdenDub,
Here's one for sale on Ebay UK. Describes it as a beginners kit?? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/drum-world-drum-kit-2-bass-drums-cymbals-9-piece-kit_W0QQitemZ290129059491QQihZ019QQcategoryZ38097Q QssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
...and here's the Drum World UK site :-( http://www.drumworlduk.com/
Difficult to say whether this is the same Drum World though!

The kit on the ebay site doesn't even look the same class as this one .
Although the make does seem to be the same .........
The kit is £200 ( which includes a full set of hard cases) , but involves an 8 hour round trip to pick it up ( and £60 petrol) !
This is confusing ..........but good fun !!

buy em. if you dont like them, then strip the lugs and hardware and buy some kellers, and build your own.
shoot, 400 bucks is almost as mucha s the lugs cost anyways!

yeah, the Stage Master kits are/were considered professional quality, and a few guys use them (but no one you would have ever heard of)- but as the website says, the company is no longer.

Well , I have just bought the Drum World kit off ebay for £217 ,( £108 less than my max bid ) which I am delighted about.
Going to pick it up tonight and will get to play it fully tomorrow night !!

It has a full set of hard cases with it too
