Naming your kit

Has anyone out there thought about naming or named their kit?

Mine's Pegasus.

The closest I've come is having a spork labeled "destroyer of humans" sticking out of the bass vent.

Not a real name but when i refer to my kit i call my drums my children.

Harry, my Grandad's name. He gave me the kit, so he gets the name.

My drum kit is called Hermione. Each of my 8 toms has a letter to it.

I have Blondie, Blackie, BIg Blue, Lucy, Roo, The Fish Tank and R2D2. The others don't have names but these are the one I use day to day.

I call my kit many different names. Profanity is often used in the house because if something breaks or something, I often yell "YOU (female dog)"

i usually refer to mine as "DA DRUMS", but now i need to make a name for it....how about Thumpy? clunky.......but my family of drums is called Ringy, Clankey, Bonky, and Poppy.....my snare is Buster and my cymbals are Broken

I actually don't have names for my current kits. When I used to have my Tama Starclassics...the bass player at that time named them "The Green Machine".

ya know...i've never thought about naming my kit before. I just got a new kit yesterday (pictures will be up soon) and I can see naming it very soon. I have just been calling it "my new baby"...but the wife is getting a little upset, especially because we have one on the way :)

I love my drums, but the quality is not great. I look at them every day and think about how much I love them, but she could look so much better. Reminds me of my ex-girlfriend. She was cute, but some days it wasn't there.
